I know the oil drain plug hole is pretty damn important, so I don't want to screw it up.Ĭan we do it without removing the oil pan? I heard plenty of grease and flushing with fresh oil would allow this. I have retapped an unimportant hole on a previous bike (one that held the fairing on) and didn't do a great job.

Does anyone have a kit I could borrow without having to buy my own? I'd be willing to pay for the thread and your time to help me get this fixed! I've read through several other posts that suggest using a Helicoil or Timesert piece to retap the hole.
